On 24.2.2019 the “Day of Aquariums and Terrariums” took place at the State Museum of Natural History in Braunschweig.

We were there again with our GREEN CORALS and live marine animals, microscopy for young and old, Nemo and his anemone, brittle star, hermit crab & friends 🙂

Many children were able to indulge their inner explorer and examine live coral polyps or bristle worms at 20x magnification, after first getting up close and personal with their larger relatives.

Downstairs in the museum’s public aquarium, visitors could watch feeding demonstrations, go behind the scenes and learn some interesting things. Next door was AQ4Aquaristik’s exhibition of the primitive but elegant Triops and Fairy Crayfish, and next door was das-aquarium’s aquarium set-up workshop.

A successful day with many visitors, despite the nice spring weather… Many thanks also to the museum team.
