Here are some fluorescence shots of our GREEN CORALS under blue light.

In fluorescence, short-wave blue light is absorbed by certain pigments of the coral and is immediately emitted with a slightly longer wavelength. So this is not a reflection of the light by the coral, but actually a transformation, from a higher to a lower energy level.

In most cases it is green fluorescent light, but there are also the colors blue, violet, orange and yellow.
