After some nice but unfortunately wrong answers it seems to be necessary to give a few more hints:
- This is a stereomicroscope image, 45-fold magnification
- Of course it is/belongs to some creature living in the sea
- This >thing< is NOT flexible, but hard and fragile….
OK, now it should be quite easy 😉

it was incredibly exciting again. The answers reached from „hair of a cat” to „polychaete setae“, the bristles of a bristle worm.
